Dear Sir,
RE : LETTER OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE SPONSORSHIP FOR APPRENTICE TRAINING SCHEME
1. We refer to the above matter and the Letter of Agreement of the Sponsorship For Apprentice Training Scheme dated ……… whereupon you have attested your signature of acceptance of the terms and conditions thereof (hereinafter referred to as “the said Sponsorship Agreement”).
2. We wish to highlight to you CLAUSE 2 of the said Sponsorship Agreement, which provides that the acceptance of the offer of the sponsorship therein is “…subject to your execution of the Apprenticeship Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Apprenticeship Agreement”) with the Company…”.
As a matter of clarity, we wish to reiterate that the “Company” thereof in Clause 2 is with reference to ……., i.e. the contracting party which is providing the Apprenticeship Training Scheme to you under the Apprenticeship Agreement which you had executed on the ………..
3. Please take note, by way of Deed of Assignment dated ________ day of ___________ … executed between … and …CCB had assigned all its rights and liabilities under the Apprenticeship Agreement to DCM and discharges its further performance of the Apprenticeship Agreement. As at from the date stipulated thereof, DCM shall undertake to perform and observe all the stipulations, covenants and conditions on the part of CCB to be performed and observed under the Apprenticeship Agreement in lieu of CCB.
4. Please take note however, the covenants, terms and conditions of Sponsorship Agreement and the Apprenticeship Agreement shall continue to be binding on you and you shall continue to perform you obligations pursuant to the covenants, terms and conditions towards …. Sdn Bhd under the Sponsorship Agreement and DCM under the Apprenticeship Agreement respectively.
5. For avoidance of any doubts, the contents in this letter shall be read supplemental to the said Letter of Agreement of the Sponsorship For Apprentice Training Scheme dated …….
6. Please indicate your acceptance and acknowledgement on the above by signing at the place indicated below.
