E-Lelong system is an online public auction system in Malaysia that conducts public auction of immovable property for foreclosure proceedings in court where bidders can bid from anywhere without having to appear in court. Through e-lelong system, the descriptions of the auctioned property will be shown in the system so this would enable the bidders to conduct searches of auctioned property more easily and thoroughly. Furthermore, the identity of the bidder is kept confidential in order to avoid any leakage of information and the bidders can bid without any interference from third party or syndicates. All the public auction via e-lelong system are conducted with transparency and integrity.

How to register as a bidder?
- Go to the registration page through this link (https://elelong.kehakiman.gov.my/BidderWeb/Account/Register)
- Fill in the details and submit the required documents.
- After the registration is approved, temporary login password will be sent to personal or company email.
- Click on the login link the email to complete the registration process.
- After clicking the login link, you will be directed to the Change Password page. Enter the temporary password as appears in the email. Then, enter a new password and re-enter the new password. Then, click ‘Submit’.
- You will then receive confirmation email to access the e-Lelong website as bidders.
How to bid?
- Select the property that you are interested
- Download Proclamation of Sale (contract of sale) and click proceed
- Instruction on Payment Method for e-Lelong Auction Deposit (bank draft) will be shown and download ‘Bidding Form’
- You shall deposit a sum equivalent to ten per centum (10%) of the reserve price of the property to be auctioned in the form of Bank Draft to e-Lelong Operation Centre, Kuantan Court Complex via Pos Laju services (Pos Malaysia) or by hand, or by hand to any of the High Courts of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia, no later than one (1) working day before the public auction is conducted
- Once the bank draft is sent to Court, the Registrar of Pusat Operasi e-Lelong will approve the payment in the system
- You will be given the option to bid ahead/earlier than the auction date.
- When the bidding session ends, hammer (gavel) and notification will appear. For successful bidder, you should download the Memorandum of Sale while unsuccessful bidder may reclaim bank draft at the relevant High Court of Malaya in a timely manner
- For successful bidder, the Balance of the Purchase Price must be settled within one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of sale and failure to settle will result in forfeiture of the 10% deposit.
