In order to transfer the ownership of the land from seller to the buyer, both parties must sign a document which known as Memorandum of Transfer (MOT) as known as Borang 14A.
When you sign the MOT, the Land Title will be changed from the name of the developer or previous owners to your own. Therefore, it is not issued if the relevant property lacks a Land Title.
After both parties signed, this document will be send to Land Officer to stamping for adjudication. This could be done either by manually or online through the website http://stamps.hasil.gov.my.
