For those of you who haven’t read the news or for those who wish to drive back to their respective hometown this Chinese New Year season. There are few point you have to take note where:
- PDRM has announced that they will saman Drivers who text and drive on the road starting 18 January 2020.
- For the back passenger who fail to put on their seatbelt, PDRM will also issue a summons starting this January 2020.
- PDRM will be launching a nationwide initiative known as ‘Security Operation 16’ from 18th January 2020 till 1st February 2020 whereby the police will be focusing on 6 major offense that committed by the drivers such as:
- Two-line overtaking
- Wrongly use the emergency lane
- Speeding
- Cutting through traffic
- Text and drive
- Failure to follow the traffic light instruction
