Times are hard so as our economy, gladly the government are going to implement a new strategy to help or at least attempt to recover the economy which is to reintroduce the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) and Real Property Gain Tax (RPGT) exemptions.
RPGT:
- Exemption Starts from 01-06-2020 to 31-12-2020
- Disposal up to 3 properties.
HOC:
- Starts from 01-06-2020 to 31-05-2020
- Exemption on Instrument of transfer (MOT), however do take note that the exemption is only for the first RM1 million home purchase price.
- Exemption on loan agreement from RM300,00 to RM2.5 million, Only for residential home.
- Subject to 10% discount from the developer
- Effective for Sale and Purchase Agreement signed during 01-06-2020-31-05-2020.
